Introduction

The Clearfire 2000 is a louvred roof or wall mounted natural Smoke & Fire Ventilator suitable for smoke & heat release and day-to-day environmental use.

Application

Suited to applications requiring a large open area of louvre blades all contained with an aluminium body framework.
Aerodynamically designed to maximise efficiency the units are suitable for a wide variety of applications ranging from industrial/commercial buildings to shopping centres and atria.

Product Testing

Full independent product testing including opening mechanism, operational reliability, wind load, aerodynamic efficiency, mechanical integrity, environmental & fire performance all conforming & certified to EN 12101-2 specification.

Aerodynamic coefficient 0.60 - 0.62 dependant upon size - refer to brochure above.

Energy Conservation

The louvre blades are fixed with weatherproof sealing tape and energy strips to minimise draughts and heat loss when the blades are in the closed position.
The Clearfire 2000 is also available with insulated blades or translucent polycarbonate blades.

Sizes

Units are available in throat sizes ranging from 600mm wide x 940mm long, up to 2400mm wide x 2920mm long.

Materials

Corrosion resistant 6063 T6 aluminium alloy with corrosion resistant bearings.

Construction

A wide range of contrustion options are offered using differing body & louvre blade contructions.

Ventilator body in the following formats:-
  • Aluminium uninsulated shallow profile
  • Aluminium uninsulated
  • Aluminium with insulation to throat
  • Aluminium with insulation to throat and flange
Louvre blades available in:-
  • Aluminium uninsulated
  • Aluminium double skinned with insulation
  • Polycarbonate 8mm thick double walled
  • Polycarbonate 16mm thick triple walled
  • Laminated singe glass 6.7mm thick
  • Double glazed 24mm thick

Finishes

In addition to mill finish, also available is a polyester powder paint finish with a wide choice of colours and gloss levels.

For smoke & heat release, and also for day-to-day environmental use if required.

Pneumatic Enables connection to Life Safety, Smoke Detection and Building Management Systems.

Electric Actuation Enables connection to Life Safety, Smoke Detection and Building Management Systems.
